Animal Bio
My name is Big Ben. I live with my adoptive mum and two brothers. We were born in our mummy's home on the morning of May 2, 2015 - the same day as Princess Charlotte. Because of that, my siblings and I were named after the Royal family and their connections (Elizabeth, Charlotte, Buckingham, Churchill and Big Ben). I was double the size of the rest of my litter, so that’s how I got my name! Lovely people adopted my sisters and my fur mum, and our new mum quickly adopted us boys! We are a big furry, happy family!
I LOVE helping to make the bed, as you can see by my photo. I'm super friendly and an expert at headbutts, purrs and cuddles. My brother, Churchill, taught me how to play fetch, although he is a bit better than I. But I'm great at spotting tiny insects and eating them and can run superfast, despite my size. I follow my mum everywhere in the house and we have wonderful conversations as we do housework together. I think I have helped her solve many problems. Being picked up and carried around, even though I'm twice the size of my bro's, is my specialty since the other two are very squirmy. I know the words “no” “get down” and the sentence “who wants yummies?” (BTW, it’s me. I want yummies.)
I have recently discovered that I prefer squirrels over birds, although we are all indoor boys, so I feel the squirrels are teasing me. Bathtubs are fun places to hide, especially when you are a bigger built boy. Every night I greet my mum at the door with a flop on the floor ready for a belly rub. My brothers do that too, but I get right in front of her!
My nights are sometimes spent taking turns grooming my brothers. My mum looks left out of this, so I like to groom her too.
