We got Bru just over 2 years ago from the BCSPCA in West Vancouver. He is a lab x american bulldog or some similar mix and approximately 8 years old. He was rescued from a reserve near Prince Rupert where he was chained outside for so long that he was seized from his previous owners. Bru immediately bonded with me and my son (he was 2 then and 4 now). He has been the absolute best dog to have with a young adventurer we take him for long walks and explore many dog parks where he can have his freedom that was kept from him for so long. We are so lucky to have found the perfect dog for us through the SPCA and we love him so very much.

In this photo Bru is helping me study for finals, or rather wishing I would stop. It perfectly depicts his Eyore personality that we often joke about.
