This is Tango. He is probably the most complex little guy you will ever meet. He is American. He was found in a dumpster in Las Vegas. When I first got him he was a nervous wreck. But little by little he learned to trust me. Tango has what I call little quirks that make him "special" he doesn't like eating out of a bowl the sound of his collar on the side of the bowl freaks him out. So he prefers his meals on the ground and with no one watching him. When he goes outside to play or chase squirrels I learned very fast that you couldn't simply just call his name to bring him inside. He is very sensitive to the tone of my voice and thinks when I say his name he's in trouble. So to put him at ease I developed a high pitch squeaky voice and I say "000000hhhh sexxxxxy pants" I don't know why He likes this but for some unknown reason it works! It was fine when I was single the odd chuckle from someone hearing me call my dog from across the park... But the real kicker was when I got a boyfriend and Tango would not come to him until he used the "sexy pants voice" high pitch and all. Still to this day he has mood swings where he will lay flat and not move until ready, so you just step over him and continue on your daily tasks until he's ready to emerge from his little world. Tango has taught me a lot. I've learned patience, exceptance, sympathy, and unconditional love from this little guy. I'm glad he trusts and loves me. For those of you who have a "special" dog like mine keep working with him. Never give up! It's the most rewarding work in the world. Then maybe just maybe you can have a sexy pants of your own.
