We met Mimi (previously Mia) at the West Vancouver SPCA. She had originated in Williams Lake, BC where they figure she had been used for breeding. She had clearly never been socialized, and was terrified of both people and other dogs. It took days - and many hotdogs - for us to gain her trust enough to be able to take her home. Once she was home, however, Mimi blossomed! She knew she was finally safe.

Nowadays, Mimi enjoys going for walks on the seawall with her brother Pepe, visiting her grandparents on Sundays, and helping her parents raise money for other animals in need.
