While camping in Campbell River, I had the pleasure of sharing the wooded space with some nesting bald eagles -- two parents and two fledglings. Each would have their preferred hangouts and this one was particularly photogenic one early July evening.

I love this photo because it highlights the beautiful eyes and beak of the eagle while also giving the impression that you just told them a really bad joke.
