At the end of our birding walk at the Heron Reserve, I could hear a chirping bird near the path. My husband had all ready passed it and I stopped to investigate where the sound was coming from. Much to my surprise right on the bush at the paths edge was this little hummingbird chipping away. I immediately motioned for my husband to come with his camera to get a photo. Shortly after this picture, the parent flew in to feed the baby. It was truly a pleasure to witness this!
