My husband had noticed this little great horned owl fledging which had fallen from its nest while golfing at Spallumcheen. My husband Russ Brown and our neighbor Terry and I launched a rescue that involved using an extremely tall ladder to put the owl back in its nest. Terry also reinforced the nest so the little one wouldn’t fall through again. . There was also one other little owl fledging in the nest as well! Both adult owls were in trees close by watching the rescue mission and immediately returned to the nest.
