1. Best Napper Is napping a favorite pastime for your Basset Hound or Basset Hound Mix? Show us a photo or video of your lazy hound taking a snooze!
2. Best Treat Beggar Is scoring some treats a priority for your Basset Hound or Basset Hound Mix? If so, send a photo or video of their best begging pose…the longer the drool, the better!
3. Best Trick Do you have a Basset Hound or Basset Hound Mix that can do a trick like shake, rollover, bang-bang or something we've never heard of? Submit a photo or video of your superstar hound!
4. Best Athlete It wouldn't be an Olympics contest without a category for the athletes! If you have an athletic Basset Hound or Basset Hound Mix, send in a photo or video of them sprinting, jumping a hurdle, catching a ball or whatever else their activity may be!
Category for Non-Basset Hound Breeds is as follows:
5. Wannabe Basset Hound Do you have a dog in your family that is NOT a Basset Hound or a Basset Hound Mix? To honor all of the non-Basset Hounds that would walk in the BoardWaddle parade with us, we added this Wannabe Basset Hound category. Whether your dog is a Chihuahua, Golden Retriever, Bulldog or any other dog breed, you can submit their cutest photo or video in this category!

Prize for Each Category Winner:
The winner from each Basset Hound Olympics Photo/Video Contest category (Best Napper, Best Treat Beggar, Best Trick, Best Athlete, Best Wannabe Basset) will win the following prize:
1) Digital Disney-Inspired Portrait of Your Dog! Winners will receive an emailed jpeg file standard size is A1 at 300 DPI * of their hound. Custom portraits are being donated by the amazingly talented artist and new friend of TSBHR, Cheyenne Martinez (@disneypetportraits)!

Tri-State Basset Hound Rescue, Inc. (TSBHR) is a non-profit, all-volunteer organization dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating and re-homing Basset Hounds and Basset Hound-Mixes. We currently have 46 hounds in our care, all in nurturing foster homes. 22 of these hounds have special/medical needs. We need your support to help pay for the care of these precious dogs.
