The Scleroderma Foundation Southern California Chapter is a 501(c)(3) organization serving the Southern California region.
Scleroderma is an autoimmune disease that affects over 300,000 Americans. It is the hardening of connective tissue which can affect the skin and internal organs. It is debilitating, painful, and sometimes fatal. Approximately 10,000 Americans die from scleroderma every year.
We provide support thru local and online support groups, networking and community events We provide education thru conferences, webinars and advocacy work. We provide funding for much needed research towards treatments and hopefully a cure to scleroderma.
Our Mission is to SAVE lives and CURE scleroderma through programs committed to SUPPORT, EDUCATION and RESEARCH.
