The Belleville Area Humane Society is a limited admission shelter that has been serving the community of St. Clair County, IL for 61 years. BAHS has adopted out tens of thousands of animals and we are 100% donor funded.
Services we provide include: adoption, foster, affordable spay/neuter options, vaccine and microchip clinics, emergency veterinary assistance, free dog training, and a pet resource pantry monthly that provides food and supplies to pet owners in need.
Through our community outreach program, BAHS offers services that help pet owners keep their pets. The program has grown significantly to meet the demand in our community.
Mission: BAHS strives to improve the lives of homeless animals in our community through adoption, humane education, and community outreach.
