Paisley was the girl we almost never knew. We didn't want a pitbull. We had heard the stories. But her beautiful brown eyes told her story instead. I knew the moment I saw her that she was the most special girl I'd ever seen, and I knew I was her mother. Her eyes are her window to her heart. While she has no ability to add years to our life, the amount of life she has added to our years is immeasurable. She is our best friend, our sweet soul on four legs. Thank the universe for putting her in our lives and changing our minds and our hearts forever.
