Belle was rescued from a high kill shelter in Southern, CA. She was seen rummaging through garbage, animal control was called and was picked, bags full of milk, starved and because she is a Pit Bull, she was taken to the shelter and placed on death row, without ever looking for her puppies or attempting to help her. She came to OR on a rescue mission with a truck load of dogs for adoption. We had a wild hybrid pup at the time and was told to find her a mature dog to help tame and teach. We saw Belle in the shelter add, went to see her and brought her home that instant. She IS the sweetest dog we have ever met, she loves everyone and everyone loves her! Not a mean bone in her body. She is a valued member of this family and adored by many!
