Freya was dropped off as a stray in Yakima, WA where BSL says bully breed dogs are not allowed. It was clear she had been part of a backyard breeding program, bearing litter after litter of pups. Thanks to the folks at Seattle Humane, she was rescued from certain euthanasia and transferred to the pitbull-friendly Emerald City, spayed, microchipped, and adopted by her loving furever home within a week. Now she enjoys long naps on the couch, several walks a day, back rubs, and lots of playtime. She recently passed her CGC test and has converted several of our formerly-skeptical neighbors to pitbull lovers with her sweet demeanor, charm, and exemplary manners. She's named after the Norse mother goddess - a fitting name for a strong, gentle, beautiful dog whose love and friendship with all she meets will last long beyond her days upon this earth.
