July 15th, 2018: I saw a post of someone who needed to get rid of a pittie mix they had. I had just gotten out of a relationship & had lost my pitbull in the separation. Being in rescue, I see posts of pitbulls needing homes every day, all day. For some reason, something told me I needed to bring her home. The moment I saw her, I knew she was mine. She has done exactly that in the years I’ve had her now… healed so much emptiness in my heart and soul. I’m fully aware she’d sell me for the next shiney thing - as she loves all new friends. But she’s still the bestest girl I ever could have asked for :)
