In the search for my first, very own fur child, my partner and I were off to the AWL to discover
a litter of 8 week old kittens playing in their pen. Whilst inside the pen, one cute little tabby torti decided to bravely approach me & cutely licked my toes! It was that action of affection that confirmed she was 'the one' we would adopt to be part of our family
To my surprise when completing the adoption papers, I discovered that Peeko and I shared the same birthday date, 12/9! We celebrated Peeko's 10th birthday this week, which was amazing. Over the years, our bond has deepened - we speak one another's language (she's a vocal cat & tells us what she wants & doesn't want!) She keep us on our toes, brings joy, love and laughter to us! We love her so very much and we know she loves us!!
