A little about me...
Seven years ago, we welcomed Cubby into our lives. His journey before finding us was one of unimaginable hardship and cruelty. Cubby, a rescue dog, had endured severe abuse, having been shot 4 times, apparently he was used as target practice, by his previous owner when he was just a puppy.

Despite the trauma he endured, Cubby's spirit remained unbroken. His capacity to love and trust again is nothing short of miraculous. From the moment he entered our home, Cubby has been the epitome of sweetness, ease, and loyalty. His presence brings immeasurable joy to our lives each day.

There's something truly remarkable about the bond between a rescued animal and their human companions. In Cubby's case, the old adage rings true: "who rescued who?" Indeed, it feels as though Cubby rescued us just as much as we rescued him.

One of the most touching moments in our day is when Cubby greets us with a smile as we return home.

As we reflect on Cubby's journey and the profound impact he has had on our lives, we're filled with gratitude for the opportunity to be his forever family. He is more than just a pet; he is a cherished member of our family and a beacon of hope and resilience.
