A little about me...
Bear is a Lab mix (pandemic pet) who adopted me three years ago today after I failed as a Foster Dad. He was 2 years old and had lived in a home in Georgia that hoarded dogs. He was definitely not abused since he loves everyone he meets, but he definitely did not get any attention. He had absolutely no training, and had no idea of “how to be a dog”. Bear did not know what to do with other dogs since he never learned how to play, he did not know what treats were, and he was afraid of the water. A Lab afraid of the water? He was a “wild child”! I found him a suitable home after 2 weeks, but I just couldn’t let him go! My intuition told me that he had a sweet disposition, and that he was very smart and definitely trainable. I was spot on right! He is a sweet, funny, loveable “couch potato”, and one of the two best trained dogs I have ever had.
