A little about me...
Hi, I’m Muffin (formerly known as Starling)! I was adopted from the Animal Welfare League of Alexandria in April 2022. I just turned two last week, but I still think I’m a kitten. (Age ain’t nothing but a number!)

My mom tells our human friends I’m a “chaos demon,” whatever that means. It’s probably because I’m always looking for my next adventure, whether I find it in an empty cardboard box, the top of my cat tree or even hidden in Mom’s bookshelves (or on top of them)! I love chasing spring toys around my home, especially when Mom throws them for me, and playing with wand toys. But really, anything becomes a toy if it catches my attention.

When I’m not playing or seeking skritches from Mom, I’m doing Neighborhood Watch from the windows. I might be more interested in the birds and squirrels than most of the people, but I like to know what’s happening outside. Speaking of outside, I love spending time outside in my playpen or taking short (hey, I’m small!) walkies in my harness with Mom. There’s just so much to see out there!
