Pet's Story
We adopted Cannoli from the AVHS shelter in 2004. His shelter name was Spicoli. We didn't like that, but we wanted a name that sounded similar. We weren't sure of his age either, but we decided he was 2 then. He was 5 when the picture was taken. I like to decorate for Halloween. A friend brought this black cat holiday decoration to me. It was weighted on the bottom so it would stand upright. (No catnip was involved). The photo shows him sitting passively next to the cat. But that was just the beginning. He proceeded to sniff its rear. Then he attacked it with claws and teeth. We have several blurry action shots of him demonically tearing into the the stuffed cat. The fake cat withstood all that punishment. When he was finished, he sat down next to it as we laughed our heads off.
