Pet's Story
I got Jett as a pup. He was the runt of a litter of lab/huskie mixes, and he literally chose ME. Although I had my eye on one of his littermates, Jett persistently crawled into my lap and was the first to greet me on my second visit. I felt he was just waiting for his person to come and get him, and he decided it was me. What could I do but honor his choice? I am so grateful I listened to him! Jett has been my constant companion, comforting me when I am sad, making me laugh, and usually found lying by my side or at my feet. He is the best hiking companion I could ask for, always up for a swim in the creek or a roll in the snow. The "runt" is now a solid 78 lbs, and while he is graying on the muzzle and hobbling a bit from arthritis, he still has that eternal puppy spirit in his eyes.
