Pet's Story
Zoey was my constant companion or 16 years. She helped me mend after my divorce, helped me through the lonely times when my kids went off to college and then later moved on to there adult lives. Zoey was there to quietly sit on my lap, take walks with me, help me make Salida my new home. People always wanted to stop and meet her, especially children. She died in March 2014 and is buried in my back yard where I made a mosaic heart over her grave and plated flowers around the area. She is always with me. I was so heart broken after losing her I went to the humane society to just hold a dog, and now have Bo and Casey, brothers, who are filling the hole she left me with their furry love.
