Pet's Story
When I saw this beautiful cat at the Ark-Valley Humane Society, I could understand why he had been named "Blue". These beautiful blue eyes seemed to say "please take me home with you". He had waited a long time for a forever home, probably due to concerns about his age. After I held him, I realized that he was very calm and loving. He was returned to his cage while I ponder over whether I should adopt him. He began to cry, so i bent down to talk to him. That was when he reached out of the cage, and patted my head with his paw. The attendant said, "He has chosen you". How could I leave him there? So, Blue and I have lived together for almost two years. He is healthy and smart, but most of all he is so sweet. He welcomes my friends and family members; even a repairman is likely to receive a rub against his leg. His age has not diminished his playfulness. He is a true joy to have in my home.
