A little about me...
Piper is a 12-year-old Kelpie/Border Collie who has been my adventure partner since the day she was born, literally. She and her litter mates were raised by the Gunnison U-12 Girls Hockey Team, she is trained to work cows and sheep and has accompanied me on 2 road trips to Baja where she discovered a love for Chihuahuas.

Jubie is a 3 year old Border Collie who was brought to AVHS with a litter of 6 puppies who were raised in a tent in the National Forest. Jubie was so fearful, she had to be carried in by her previous owner. Slowly, she gained trust in people and went to a foster home that really helped her come out of her shell. The day she came back from foster and was made available for adoption, I couldn't stand the thought of her being with anyone but me and adopted her. She took a road trip to Baja and got a good education meeting street dogs and seeing the ocean for the first time. Jubie loves to hike around the mountains and play in the rivers.
