A little about me...
Scout was found roaming in the San Luis Valley near Alamosa. The URGAS Conour Animal Shelter in Monte Vista believed he had been dumped at 8 months old. He spent two months at the shelter before I arrived and I was the first to have an interest in him. When I saw his photo on their site, I fell in love. I called the shelter three different times and left messages to find out if he was available. No one ever called me back. I wasn't certain the shelter was even open and operational but I took the chance one day, called and left a message that I was coming to get him, and drove there. He was indeed there and available and I was so excited! I've had many rescues over the years but this guy is one in a million... my soul pup. Scout makes me laugh out loud on a daily basis, is highly intelligent, can read my mind, and is so much fun to be with. I can't imagine my life without him. Rescues are indeed the BEST!
