Pet's Story
Charles was abandoned in the woods of Mississippi due to a knee injury. A veterinarian found him, repaired his knee, and kept him at his animal hospital for a year as a blood donor. Charles was eventually transferred to the Colfax Pet Rescue in New Mexico where he lived for two months. As soon as we saw his handsome photo on the Animal Rescue of the Rockies website in 2014, we adopted him. Charles is a gentle, loving dog who loves people, food, and walks.
