Pet's Story
Stevie Ray is a Border Collie - Australian Shepherd mix and was adopted from a shelter in Austin. He had been pulled from another shelter where he was scheduled to be euthanized for having a bad case of kennel cough or Bordatella. This was successfully treated with several rounds of medication and could have been easily prevented by regular vaccinations. He enjoys blues music, chipmunk watching and long trail hikes in and around his new home in Salida. Stevie Ray just completed basic obedience class and earned his "Canine Good Citizen" certificate at Laura's Dog Training in Salida.
