About MeThis little sweetie was saved by AAHS from near feral conditions in someone's backyard along with her assorted family members. She was emaciated and nearly catatonic as a result of being the chew toy of the pack. While being fostered, she was afraid to eat or move. With love and patience, she began to improve. The week we adopted her was the first time the staff had seen her tail wag. At nine months old, she was only four pounds. Now, at 3 plus years, Dolly is a comfy 21 lbs. She is affectionately known as "Toad" because of her widely spaced eyes. Dolly is a beloved member of our family and happily spends her days with her 3 canine buddies Butch, Maisy, and Lily.
