Elwood was found abandoned on a cold Chattanooga, TN night at a gas station dumpster. He was just a tiny puppy around a couple of weeks old. A new born that weighed less than 4 lbs and he was wrapped up in someone’s coat in some kind of crate with a note
Saying “please give me a good home.” There was no telling how long he has been there but some wonderful lady found him and took him to a rescue facility . He was so small and young the manager of the facility took him home with her and

Our home after our last dog had passed a few months before. We saw him on line and called
About him the next morning. Two days later on Saturday my husband and I drove from Black Mountain, NC to Chattanooga, Tennessee to see this less than 5 lb shy Pug mix puppy and immediately fell in love
With him. Now over 6 years later our sweet Elwood is loved
And adored by us and others. He is a very healthy and happy almost 18 lb dog that has given us so much joy and love. He needed someone to love and take care of him and we needed a wonderful dog to love us and he does! What a blessing he is! Thanks to the person that rescued him and the shelter he was taken to provided life for a dog that could have easily died due to sickness, starvation or the cold !
