Pet's Story
About 6 months after my sweet old dog had to be put down I had a dream that I adopted two Rhodesian Ridgebacks. The next day I looked on AHS' website and saw that they had a litter of 4 Rhodesian puppies. I immediately rushed down to Forever Friend Ln and adopted one of the 7 week old puppies who all got adopted that day! I have done the DNA test and although he looks like a Rhodesian, he is in fact 60% Doberman Pinscher, 45% Pit Bull/Staffordshire Terrier and 5% Boxer.
As a baby Peeve idolized our 15 year old MaineCoon, who would retreat to his cat scratching box for peace and quite when Peeve got too wild. Peeve often slept in that scratch box under my desk when I was working much to the cat's chagrin.
Peeve now is a very tall, athletic 80 lbs, loves to play and has such a great personality. He has filled a very large void in our lives and we are truly grateful that he is part of our family.
