Pet's Story
My mama and auntie took me in and gave me a home after hearing about my past owner's financial hardship. She was only supposed to watch me for a month or so, but it turned out that she ended up being my first and final forever home. I was very overweight at first, but then mommy put me on a diet, which revealed my hidden health condition that my past guardians had neglected to address. Now, after a year of regular insulin shots and special food, I'm spry enough to jump onto tables and counters without hurting anymore. Of course, I'm still a lazy couch potato at heart, though, and my favorite thing in the whole world is my food, *ahem*, I mean, my mama, so I'm a cuddle monster, too.
