Pet's Story
I have entered Bella because she is such a loving dog and has such a gentle spirit. She was taken to the HCAS in January 2019 by a wonderful person named Mallory. The shelter named her Mallory. Bella was dumped, along with her 3 newborn pups and Mallory brought her and pups to the shelter. They took very good care of Bella and her pups. I would go to the shelter to see Bella and pups but I was immediately drawn to Bella. I would go to the shelter a couple days a week and walk her while I was taking classes there for volunteering...I immediately bonded with her. She was such a good mom to her 3 pups and would go in the toy room and get stuffed animals for her pups!! It was so heartwarming to see you her do this! When the pups were weaned, I took Bella home for a week to rest and relax and get alot of spoiling. On March 13, 2019 I adopted Bella and the rest is history!!! She is a wonderful dog and gets along with my 3 rescue cats! She is thriving and I feel honored to be her human mom. In closing, Bella's pups were also adopted and I have to say that volunteering, fostering and adopting are magical. It has helped me grow as a person and has given Bella the life she should have had all along. Thanks to HCAS and all the wonderful things they do to find all the animals that come in there, furever homes. Bella is very special and I hope she wins. She deserves this!! Thank you...
