Pet's Story
I rescued BooBoo June 2019. BooBoo was 8 and a half years old and had been at Asheville Humane Society for 6 months. His former human mom had passed away and his former human dad had to go into senior care. BooBoo was sad, bored, and he was full of Huskytude aka he does what he wants when he wants, he either likes you or not. I was looking for a dog and he broke my heart. I had to bring him home. BooBoo needed love and I knew I could give him all the love in the world. We live in the mountains and keep in contact with his former dad thru a family friend on Instagram. BooBoo has made trips to Assisted Living facilities and is an instant star there. No matter where BooBoo goes, he brings joy to everyone. Old dogs are just as much joy as pups. I'm so blessed to have Asheville Humane Society care for him and for allowing me to bring him into my family.
