Pet's Story
RUFF.. my name is Sally Ann! I use to live at the Asheville Humana Society. I had been brought back two times for my difficult personality and high energy level. I was scared of people and very skittish. One Saturday a lady came in. She had just gone to a funeral of a sweet friend from church. During the eulogy, members from several area Volunteer Organizations, spoke about how much Sally gave of her time and love to their organization. In her heart my Mom wondered, what can I do today to make even a small impact in an organization that the original Sally was active in. Mom immediately came over to Friends Forever Lane and we found each other. She brought me home that day and tells me I am the 4 legged love of her life. I now love to play in the woods, go to the beach and go boating on Lake James. I learned to swim half way across the lake last year. I have found my Forever Home with my mom, my boy and 3 cat cousins.
