Miss Gracie Mae was adopted via Petfinder from a rescue in Mississippi in 2023. When arriving to Ohio, Gracie made fast friends with her adoptive brothers Freddie and Brody and foster brother, Ranger. This sassy girl rules the boys! Unfortunately, Miss Gracie has had some bumps along the way. Not long after adoption, she was diagnosed with a birth defect in which she was born with only one partial optic nerve and is at least 75% blind. This does not slow her down! She was also diagnosed with a life-threatening patent ductus arteriosus (PDA - a persistent opening between the two major blood vessels leading from the heart) and recently underwent surgery to correct this birth defect. Gracie is sweet, spunky, bossy and LOVES cuddles. When she gets up in the morning she screeches like a banshee because she is so excited to be alive!
