This portrait of Taylor Swift was made using a 16x20 canvas, paint, glitter, foam and markers. Taylor Swift’s album Fearless shares the same spirit as many brain tumor survivors who fearlessly live life every day. Just like my sister!

Artist Bio: Tell Us Your Story
My name is Ameenah Salim and I am 8 years old. I live in New Jersey. In 2022 my younger sister was diagnosed with a brain tumor. She had surgery and has been to the hospital alot since then. She is sick alot, but loves Taylor Swift. She loves to sing and dance to Taylor in our kitchen. My favorite artist is Taylor Swift too. I made this portrait of Taylor Swift, called “Fearless”, because even though my sister Maryam is in the hospital a lot, takes alot of medicine and gets shots she is always fearless.
