Textile embroidery piece of art
This is a textile piece, I have HAND SEWN, yes hand sewn no machinery involved, I hate technology most the time so do all my art by hand mostly.
To show you one of my very own brain scans I have recreated it in a textile piece form
I traced over my scan and copied it onto fabric (calico) by tracing it a 2nd time with it placed onto calico so it was copied onto fabric and then stitching over it in different Color’s.
Whilst adding a bit of bling/gem stones because I myself love a bit if bling 🤑 gems and sequins
I have embraced the detailed through needlework to create the shapes and textures, and i also used bright bold colours to add impact. You may think my piece is wired but why be the same when we were born to be different and stand out.

I was diagnosed with a Craniopharyngioma. In April 2014 at age 11. My craniopharyngioma was inoperable and all they could do was drain a cyst and invert a drain to prevent hydrocephalus again in future.
In the July 2014 I travelled across to Jacksonville USA to have Proton beam therapy, I made i gained Knick on effects that come free with having a brain tumour (got to have a bit if humour can’t take life to serious) then in 2018 we were told my tumour developed a cyst inside it. I then had ho for surgery again but being in adult services this was new experience to me as adult service is very different to child. I HAD debulking through the nose. THE FIRST MRI was ok, great
My 2nd UNFORTUNATE TO SAY was not and I was told I had re-occurance.
I have had an MRI again last Friday to see what the outcome is but they have actully said watch it but not many more options unfortunately for me
But hey ho, still here taking part in Raymond wood 🤷🏼‍♀️😊😄❤️
