Artist Statement (include type of art, techniques & materials used, what it means to you)This is a photograph of a horse I saw at my county fair. I thought it was funny. As any brain tumor survivor knows there is a never ending list of doctors to see. It reminds me of when you go to the doctor and they tell you to say Ahh. It also reminds me of the horrible taste I get in my mouth sometimes after I take a medication. That taste is not pleasant. I used my Canon EOS R8 using a 20-50mm RF F4-6.3 zoom lens. I shoot it at 50mm at F/10 at exposure of 1/160 of a second.
Artist Bio: Tell Us Your StoryI am childhood pituitary brain tumor survivor. I enjoy making art, but especially photography as it helps keep me present in this moment instead of worrying about the future. I am grateful for this opportunity to participate and share my artwork with the world.
