Larry believes that all dogs deserve to find their fur-ever home! It doesn’t matter what they look like, their breed, age, color, size. They should get the chance to feel unconditional love and support from a best friend. Everyone goes through hardships but that doesn’t mean we give up! Larry wants any pet who’s been waiting to find their person. A love from a furry friend is like no other, it lasts for a lifetime and beyond. It’s better to have a sidekick who looks at you like you’re all that and a bag of chips! Larry went through struggles himself but he found light at the end of the tunnel and wants any other pet out there struggling to have the chance to have that moment too!

Tell us what makes your dog better than all the rest!
Larry is a special guy. He went through his own trials and tribulations. He was born the runt of his litter with only 3 toes on one foot and his leg tethered to him, we called it his bat wing. Thankfully, his mom works at an animal hospital and it was decided that she would be the best to take on this responsibility. It wasn’t easy, but love is never easy. At 8 weeks old, Larry underwent his first surgery on his leg to make it so he could fully extend. There were questions of him becoming a tripod or having growth plate problems. Having his leg be immobile made his puppy life hard, he couldn’t really feed from his mom so he had to be bottle fed, he couldn’t get around like his brothers, he was underweight for so long. But since the surgery, he has been a brand new dog. He can run, jump, play and love on you like any other dog! He still has his funky 3 toes which is why we call him Larry the lobster, and there’s still somethings that are difficult for him but he has overcome so much! Any one can! Larry believes that having a disability or birth defect is like having a SUPER POWER! It only makes you STRONGER! No matter what you go through in life, you can always come out on top with the right support and never giving up! All pups deserve dedication, time and love no matter where they come from!
