Pet's Story or BioOur "lowercase dog," low-slung and humble, Freddie is easy to please
with treats, toys, any attention at all.
His paws reach out for playtime cuddles, and his eyes follow me wherever
I go around the house, the mark of
a true Velcro Dog. I call him my over-lap dog, since he wants to be as
close as possible, though it makes using the laptop, reading a book, or
doing floor exercise a real challenge. He always wants to help, and
leans on me
or stays underfoot to prove it. When his curly hair is overgrown, he
looks like a fat, fluffy sheep, but after a clip he shows off his
fanciful breed, a Basset-Doodle with several other influences. As a
mini-Poodle mix, Freddie doesn't shed, but Fiona the Husky mix more than
makes up for it with her endless tufts of bunny-soft fur undercoat.
What a pair!
