Adopted from Living Free in November 2024, Princess Petunia faced serious challenges on her path to adoption. She and her mom, along with two siblings, were crammed together into a small carrier and left under a shrub on Living Free’s property. Sadly, when the carrier was finally discovered after a couple of days, only Princess Petunia and her mother were still alive—and in very poor condition. The amazing staff at Living Free took great care of them both, and Princess Petunia, who is full grown at 5.4 pounds, is now a proud Idyllwild resident. In addition to her human mom and dad, she lives with her canine siblings (maltipoo Miss Sweet Pea, German shepherds Phoenix, and Phineas) and her feline siblings (Boo, Moo, Toe-lula (who has funny-shaped toes), and Linus (an ARF rescue)). Princess Petunia regularly hangs out with her human mom Stephanie, a realtor with Idyllwild Realty.
