Pet's Story or Bio
Halo is an 18-month old rescue who was brought to a shelter after the death of his owner. He sat at the shelter in an outdoor cage for nearly a month, when we met him for 10 minutes & took a chance that he was the one! He is a border collie/pit bull/poodle mix with a charming scruffy face & crazy 1/2 tail! He loves his 13-yr old Jack Russell sister— who is only 13 lbs to his 45—& he even tries to herd our senior cat who has also become his buddy. He is friendly to people & all dogs, large or small. Halo has earned his “Canine Good Citizen” certificate in training since we brought him home 11/6/24. Halo is the name he came with and it fits him because he is an angel!
