Short story about how the animal has changed the owner's life for the better
It blows my mind that this incredibly sweet, fluffy kitty is 16 years old! Ever since bringing Smudge (aka Smudgey) home 8/23/23, my world (and my 3 year old golden’s world) changed in the most positive direction. Smudge had a tough experience of going in and out of APCSM a few times over the years. She is quite curious, sneaky/stealthy, always sleepy, sometimes cranky (who can blame her, she’s 16 after all!), needs to be on thyroid meds, and likes to be an inconvenience when I work from home and need to answer emails (one of her favorite spots is on top of my laptop, expertly choosing which of my hands to sleep on). I wish I had met her and brought her home sooner. This incredibly sweet girl has filled my life with so much love, companionship, routine snuggles that I very much look forward to, laughs- just to name a few things. It feels like we’ve been by each others’ side forever and not only 9 months. I cannot remember a day without her! I am so grateful for how APCSM cared for her before she became my family. Smudge is an absolute blessing
