Short story about how the animal has changed the owner's life for the better
When she was adopted her name was Kiki. We changed her name to Fredrika (Freddy for short). She was a biter. I almost didn't keep her.
But we learned to get along and she has mellowed. She's now best friend to this 85 year old. She is not a cuddler, but she curates all visitors and needs to know where I am at all times. Despite our rocky beginning I don't know what I'd do without her now!
