Short story about how the animal has changed the owner's life for the better
After the loss of our senior dog we weren't really sure what our next steps were going to be but we knew we wanted to adopt. Then by pure fate Sushi was introduced to us and we knew right then and there we were going to try our best to be her forever home. Since that December day it has always felt a bit like Christmas because the gift of Sushi's unique, particular yet goofy, delicate and sweet personality.
