Our tree is a symbol of culture, togetherness, and the impact of the past! As you look at our tree, you can see there are many different styles of dances. We researched and chose styles of dance to learn more about when making our tree. These dances represent people, their cultures, their traditions. We loved having opportunities to learn different styles of dance and how these dances continue to impact us today as dancers, and it helps us support other dancers in our community. Our pictures are also on the tree to represent togetherness and our love of dance especially during these hard times. Even if we cannot all be together for the festival, we can still enjoy the traditions and the beauty of Christmas. No matter what’s going on around us, we can still find a way to work together as a team and a community and use this as an opportunity to lift peoples spirit is, and raise money to help individuals with cancer and their families! Now is when it is really important for all of us to be able to be together as a team, as well as doing something helpful for our community. Dance helps people from all around come together as one to express feelings. As dancers, we want to make a positive impact with our dance and share it with many more people!
