I adopted Sugar and Cali in February 2011 from AWL! I saw Cali in a room with a lot of other cats. We went into the visiting room and Cali ended up on my lap. She nudged me under my chin with her head and that's when I fell in love. I wanted another cat to keep her company. I played with some other cats but they were either afraid of her or chased her. I had spotted a white cat that seemed very lovable in one of the cages there. Sugar was the only one that didn't chase Cali & didn't run from her. So I took Sugar home too! Sugar is pure sugar! She's a very sweet, friendly, playful cat. She loves to chase shadows and loves to jump. Cali is a spicy kitty and such a diva! She loves to lounge. I love them both much!
