Krystal's story is - in 2006 she was a stray and given to AWL. She was approximately 2 years old and had heartworm. She was treated and survived. Her life prior to being rescued must have been very sheltered. She did not bark, know what a toy or chew bone was. She was scared to death of sudden clicking noises, Wanted to run, find a way out... We believe she was beaten.

Happy ending - Love at first sight - we saved her and she saved us. She is an absolute delightful gem and cannot express how much love and happiness she brings to our home. We are and feel so blessed to have her in our family. She now knows what toys, chew bones are, speaks to us all the time and has been reassured clicking kind of noises are okay. L O V E her with every beat of our hearts!
