Max and his companion Maggie were adopted 14 years ago when I brought my two adopted, special needs children to the shelter and told them "the kitties would choose us". A tiny paw reached out and grabbed me from the cage and our family of three became a family of five. Max loves to climb absolutely everything and is a master jumper still! We lost Maggie last year, and although Max misses her, he still enjoys his role as supervisor of all and the major lap cat of most laps. As you can see, he is extremely happy to be such an important part of our family and quite a nosy, funny and entertaining little character. Max is quite striking and always memorable. Like my children, he is adopted, very special and full of happiness :)
