This is Miss Kitty. She's a rescue cat, who was unwanted and lived in a cage without socialization for five months. My wife, Lisa, felt compelled to bust her out of kitty prison and "keep her just until someone adopts her.” Nobody ever came over to see this cat or express interest in her. Meanwhile, she became the 10 lb master of our household. She learned trust, and how to chase balls and make a toy out of everything. Lisa started dropping hints that what she wanted for her 50th birthday was Miss Kitty! My family arranged a surprise adoption! Miss Kitty does things every day to make us laugh and comforts us through these troubling times.
