Pet's Story or Bio
Tango is about 8 years old and a true immigrant from Southeast Asia. He was formerly a street dog surviving on his wits from the town of Yangon in Myanmar (formerly called Burma). Tango was rescued by an American lady who runs the Yangon Animal Shelter. She reported that when he was a puppy, Tango’s mother and his brothers/sisters were poisoned, but he managed to escape death. My uncle was working in Myanmar at the time, and ended up adopting Tango from the shelter. When he returned from that foreign assignment, he took Tango back with him to the United States. Then Tango ended up getting very sick, but he responded well to having me around and recovered. Tango has had to adjust to this radically different world here, but this cute video on the shelter’s website shows how he responded to his first "alien" encounter with snow:
